Cosy little tea and cake shop we stumbled across while driving around Beppu and surrounds. The matcha cake was amazing and really good coffee as well. The atmosphere is quaint and calming. Perfect place for a rest stop

A nice and cozy Kominka style cafe run by an extremely nice lady. The location is great - a bit far from any city centers but you can enjoy the satoyama sceneries on the way. The building itself I would say is rather a common traditional Japanese house (Kominka), but inside everything is well maintained with bits of nice traditional artifacts displayed. Food there is simply amazing. She bakes the best Macha cake. Highly recommended

Lovely and cozy cafe - lucky we’ve found this place en route from the airport. Their strawberry tart was absolutely delicious.
